Spa / Offices / Villa Crespo / 2005-6
This work was published in the architectural magazine Summa + Nº92.
A female cosmetics company decided to create its own office building, training facilities, and spa. Two typical Buenos Aires houses were reconditioned and refunctionalized to achieve this complex goal.
The guiding idea was to create a simple and pure image, without tension. The materials we used were a mix of white, reflective elements, which were structured from the perimeter to make the best use of natural light.
The offices were placed furthest from the street. The spa and cosmetics rooms were located on the top floor, and the salesroom and training facilities nearest to the access.
This building between party walls contains a patio, which gives the place a special character. At the same time, it creates a subtle relationship with the interior, maintaining the project’s spirit.
